Nampa Memorial services for Leo Victor Getter, 74, of 703 Almond St., Nampa,
who died Thursday at a Nampa hospital of a short illness, will be conducted at 2
p.m. Saturday at Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. E. Paul Riedel, Nampa Zion
Lutheran Church. Entombment will be in the Building of Reverence at Hillcrest
Memorial Gardens.
He was born 7 Dec 1903 at Nampa, where he was reared and educated. He married
Julia Dahltorp 25 Aug 1934 at Nampa. He worked as a clerk for the Union Pacific
Railroad for 42 years.
He was a member of the Nampa Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife and a son, Dale, both of Nampa; a daughter JoAnn Wood of
Boise; a brother Paul of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Willmorth of
Boise; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
