Edwin H. Luke, 69, a retired wholesale lumber dealer, died this morning at his home, 7528 Roosevelt Way, after a long illness. Private funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow in the Home Undertaking chapel, followed by cremation. Mr. Luke had lived here since the early 1900's. He was a partner in the J. E. Pinkham Lumber Co., and owner of the Red Cedar Shake Corp. Before his illness he was an associate wholesaler with the Wyman Lumber Co. He was a native of Grass Valley, Calif. He was a member of the Retail Lumber Association. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Nicholson, Seattle, and a son, Philip Luke, Edmonds; a sister, Mrs. Frank Byers, Seattle, and a brother, Tommy Like, Portland, Or., and five grandchilden.
