Here, at the intersection of Wall St. and Broadway in Manhattan, are the final resting places of, from the left:
1) Mary Morin Scott Litchfield McKnight. 2) Her father, Brig. Gen. & Hon. John Morin Scott, 1st NY Sec. of State (his widow, Helena Rutgers Scott, remarried John R. Myer, and I haven't found her grave yet), and his parents, John and Marian Morin Scott. 3) Col. John Litchfield (British), Mary M. S. L. McKnight's first husband, and their three daughters: Helena Maria and Helena Ann, both of whom died in infancy, and Elizabeth Litchfield Ross, wife of Robert Ross, Esq. 4) Charles McKnight, MD, Senior Surgeon of the American Army of the Revolution and second husband of Mary M. S. L. McKnight. 5) Lewis Allaire Scott, Esq., son of John Morin Scott, and 2nd NY Sec. of State. 6) To the memory of Rev. Charles McKnight, and his son Capt. Richard McKnight; they are the father and brother of Charles McKnight MD, and are buried elsewhere. Location of Rev. McKnight's grave is unknown, but he is said to have died in New Jersey. It is presumed that Richard's remains are in the vault of the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument at Ft. Greene Park, Brooklyn, as he was reportedly one of the 11,500 captive Patriots who perished under brutal conditions aboard the British prison ships, which were anchored in Wallabout Bay during the War of the Revolution.
Helena Maria, Helena Ann, and Elizabeth are lacking F.A.G. memorials.
Take note of the passerby who actually stopped to read the inscriptions!

[Note that the inscription reads, "To the memory of...."] Rev. McKnight was the Scots-Irish father of Charles McKnight, MD, and Capt. Richard McKnight. Rev. McKnight reportedly died in New Jersey, and the whereabouts of his grave is at this time unknown.

NOTE: There are two Charles McKnights buried here. This one died in 1778. The other is two graves away and died in 1791.

Epitaph reads:

McKNIGHT, CHARLES THE REVEREND
1778

Epitaph: To the memory of the Revd Charles McKnight for many years a beloved Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Monmouth County New Jersey. He departed this life Jany 1st 1778.

The Presbyterian Revd Charles McKnight preached against the British during the Revolution. His church in Middletown Point, New Jersey was burned by British soldiers and he was taken prisoner to New York. He died a prisoner in 1778. He is the father of Dr. Charles McKnight two plots to the left.

The Reverend McKnight's epitaph continues:
Also to the memory of his son Richard McKnight captain in the American Army of the Revolution

His son Richard McKnight, a Captain in the Continental Army, also died a British prisoner on a ship in the Wallabout. He is the older brother of Dr. Charles McKnight two plots to the left.
