Jeanette B. Norman, 103, of Liberty Village, went to meet her Lord, 9:03 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Liberty Village, Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born May 22, 1908, in Ross County, to the late Charles Dennis and Mary Etta Shasteen Bennett. On June 12, 1930, she married Clarence Herbert Norman who died February 9, 1970.
Surviving are sons, Charles A. Norman and Jack L. Norman and wife, Bonnie, all of Chillicothe; a daughter, Mary M. McGuire and husband Marty, of Chillicothe; 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Bennett and wife, Norma Jean, of Frankfort; daughters-in-law, Betty R. Lovensheimer, of Circleville and June Norman, of Amanda; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, James, Junior and Marlin; a daughter, Barbara Tyner; grandsons, Scott McGuire and Steven Norman; a great grandson, Nate Minney; daughters-in-law, Wilma and Marilyn Norman; 6 brothers; 2 sisters.
Jeanette was a member of Brookside Church and the Ross County Senior Citizens and was a 1926 graduate of Kingston High School. She worked in Twin School Cafeteria.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
