Amy was 91 years old in 1959. She was the daughter of a civil war soldier and a member of the one of Vinton county's prominent families whose roots were well established in the Dundas area. She died in the home of her son Garvin Salts in Dundas.She had been ill for two or three years and bedfast for some time. She was well known in the streets of Wellston and McArthur. The family has lived in the Salts Homestead for 125 years. She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.She was born March 24, 1868 at Dundas the daughter of Ezra and Susan Barnett Timms. Her husband Willis died in October 1910 .Surviving at the time of her death are the following children: Roy of Detroit, Michigan, Robert of Columbus Ohio, Kenneth of McArthur, Ohio, Earl of Wellston Ohio, Garvin of Dundas Ohio, Mrs James Wortman and Mrs Boyd Bobo of McArthur of Ohio. There were 32 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren surviving and two brother Charles Timms of Dundas and James Timms of Springfield Ohio. Funeral was at the Wrightsel Funeral home in McArthur with Rev J. P. Daab officiating and buried at the Hoffhine cemetery at Dundas
