Rebecca was the youngest child of John and Rebecca Stidham Springer. She married Franklin Cochran on 21 Feb 1836 in Muskingum County, OH. The two had 5 children before Rebecca's early death at age 34. It appears that Franklin didn't remarry after her death. Just before the Civil War he purchased land in Heyworth, McLean County, IL, where he died in 1865.
