FRANCES DOTY HART, 47, of Winter Haven died Thursday at home. A native of Greeneville, Tenn., she moved to Winter Haven from Rogersville, Tenn., in 1954. She was an employee of Polk County public schools for 20 years, taught at Garner Elementary and served as a deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Alfred. She was a member of Florida and Polk County education associations, Phi Mu sorority at Florida State University in Tallahassee and Florida Sports Horse Club. She is survived by a daughter, Heather Michelle, and her parents, John F. and Anne Doty, all of Winter Haven; three sisters, Susan Griffis of Winter Haven, Helen Lewis of Blountville, Tenn., and Barbara of Thompson Ridge, N.Y.; and two brothers, Bill Doty of Winter Haven and John Doty Jr. of Dover. Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
