Deceased Name: Charles Orrill
Charles Franklin Orrill, 73, of Satellite Beach, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky.
He was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Louisville, Ky., the son of Edward M. and Katherine Erny Orrill. He was raised in Madison. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and served as a sergeant major. He also served as deputy director of personnel for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. He was a member, elder and deacon at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic, Fla. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, North American Hunting Club, and a lifetime member of Florida Sportsman Association.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly VanArsdell Orrill; two sons, Michael Howard Orrill of Salida, Colo., and Charles Franklin Orrill Jr. of Palm Bay, Fla.; four daughters, Susan Franklin Marchesseault of Eustis, Fla., Melissa Jane Baker of West Melbourne, Fla., Patricia Lee Buckley of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Cynthia Ann Childers of Simpsonville, Ky.; two brothers, Edward Orrill of Madison and Robert Orrill of Solebury, Pa.; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic, Fla.
