Mrs. Fuentes was born on August 1, 1933, in Rio Grande City and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gumaro Fuentes; two sons, Hector Luis Garza of Laredo and Gumaro Fuentes Jr. of Edinburg; six daughters, Jamie Griego of Hereford, Texas, Maria Alma Martinez, Norma Linda Fuentes of McAllen, Leticia Pe¤a of Edinburg, Elizabeth Laughlin of Mission and Thelma Lou Ritter of New Jersey; one brother, Pedro C. Mu¤iz of McAllen; two sisters, Lydia Rangel and Felicia Castro, both of McAllen.
Funeral Mass will be held today, Friday, March 20, 1998, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at La Piedad Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen.
