OBITUARY PROVIDED BY HINDMAN FUNERAL SERVICES, INC. - 10/17/2011 - Marcus Ritchie, age 88, of Hindman, KY, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. Born November 2, 1922, he was the last of seven sons born to Mallie Combs Ritchie and Elliot Ritchie. He was preceded in death by his step son- Phillip Rodney Maggard. He is survived by his wife- Alpha Ritchie; Step Daughter- Sue Carol (Minoo) Billimoria. Funeral services for Marcus Ritchie will be held 11 AM Tuesdsay at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Darrell Short officiating. Burial will follow in the John S. Combs Cemetery at Vest, KY. Friends may call for visitation 6 -9 PM Monday.
