Death claimed Mr. C.J. Lamb Wednesday, September 19, 1951, about 9:00 P.M., at his home near Marion. C.J. was born June 5, 1883. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. and Bell Lamb. He was married to Miss Willie Gass in 1906; to this union was born one child, which died in infancy. In 1907 his wife passed away. In 1909 he was married to Miss Katherine Horning; to this union were born two children, one of whom died in infancy, The other, Richard Lee Lamb, survives, also his widow, Mrs. Katherine Lamb, one granddaughter, Flora Katherine Lamb, two sisters, Mrs. Leona Hunt of Marion and Mrs. Iva Stembridge of Princeton, Ky., and a brother, Ewen Turley, of Creswell, Ky. He has many friends and relatives here who sorrow with his going. The memory of his many deeds of kindness and thoughtfulness of others will linger long in the hearts of those who knew him.
