Donna Lea Baxter, 49, of Little Rock passed away Friday, August 26, 2011. She was born in Little Rock to the late Harry James and JoAnn Hodkin Baxter.

Donna graduated from Hendrix College with a degree in Psychology in 1984 and was a member of Phi Delta Chi and Rho Chi, she later attended and graduated from UAMS College of Pharmacy and performed her residency at Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was employed for several years as a Doctor of Pharmacy at UAMS. Donna enjoyed camping and backpacking, she also had a great admiration for all animals. Donna was very active in her church and performed voluntary mission work in Honduras. Donna was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Baxter.

Survivors include a brother, Jack Baxter , of Little Rock, a sister, Pat Baxter Petralia and husband Ben of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania her Great Dane Tinkerbell and friends.

Burial will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Sharbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with a Rosary following at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home 5800 W. 12th St.
