His family included his wife, Irene Cason; one son, Willie Cason of Sparta; one brother, Clayton Cason of Woodbury; three sisters, Doyle Honeycutt of Texas, Wilma Bently of Missouri and Blanche Sherrell of Cookeville; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
