Christopher Matthew Owens, 32, of Zolfo Springs, died on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Plant City on April 12, 1979. He was a machine operator with Mosaic and a member of Faith Temple Ministries Church of God.
He is survived by two daughters Kaydance Owens and Mercedes Owens, both of Wauchula; Mom and Dad, Vicky and William Owens of Zolfo Springs; father Butch Whaley of Lakeland; grandmother Lizzie Crosby of Zolfo Springs and Tina Owens of Zolfo Springs; three sisters Ruchelle Owens of Plant City, and Jennifer and Danielle DeConcilio, both of Lakeland; and best friend and ex-wife Debbie Sambrano of Wauchula.
Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Services are Thursday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. at Faith Temple Ministries Church of God, with Pastor Wendell G.
