Paul C. Agee, age 82, of Farmville, formerly of Roanoke, died at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 1992.
Born in Cumberland County on July 12, 1909, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Agee, Sr. and Genoy Shelton Agee.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Woods Agee, Roanoke.
Mr. Agee was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Agee was long active in the insurance business in both Farmville and Roanoke where he operated his own agency. For many years, he was executive secretary of the Roanoke Valley Independent Insurance Agents, Inc., and was active in the affairs of the National Association of Life Underwriters. In 1985, he moved from Roanoke to his farm in Cumberland County. He was an avid gardener, long active in the Men's Garden Clubs of America. In addition, he was a builder of unusual clocks.
There are no immediate survivors, however, he leaves several nieces, nephews, an extended family and many friends.
