Doris L. Crawford, 85, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007, at her home.
Doris was born Dec. 26, 1921 to Jonathan and Elizabeth Cox. She lived in Chico all of her life and attended Chico schools. Doris was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 218, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Grandmothers Club and Chico Gleaners. On Aug. 1, 1946 she married Elmer Crawford. He passed away Sept. 23, 2006.
She is survived by daughters Judi Monroe and husband Jim, Kay Jennings, Linda Anderson and husband Richard, Lynn Horine and husband George; she had eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at Glen Oaks Memorial Park October 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a gathering of family and friends after the Graveside service at the Eagles Hall on 20th Street. Published in Chico Enterprise-Record on October 17, 200
