Mrs. Wayne Abbott, 47, Amenia, died unexpectedly at her home April 6. She was born in North Carolina on July 29, 1916, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Robert Whitehurst. A resident of Amenia since 1946, she had been employed at the Wassaic State school for the last 15 years in the Occupational Therapy Department. She was married on June 27, 1946 in the Amenia Presbyterian Church. Survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs Luke B Migette; brother Earl Mades of Beaufort, NC, nieces & nephews.
