Alton H. Baker, 90, of Laurel, Delaware passed away at his home on July 31, 2011.
He was born in Laurel a son of the late Harry O. and Beatrice M. Baker.
Alton was a Laurel High School graduate. He retired as the owner operator of Bakers Seed Store.
Alton was active in the Ruritan Club and Laurel Alumni Association. He is survived by his cousins, Robert Carey of Laurel, Craig Brittingham of Laurel, Linda McIvaine of Georgetown, Ann Animer, and Terry Baker, and numerous second cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm. The Pastor Ken Deusa will officiate.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Mr. Baker's memory to the Laurel Fire Department 205 W. 10th Street Laurel, DE 19956 or Laurel Alumni P.O. Box 382 Laurel, Delaware 19956.
