Celebration of his life will be held October 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Harvest Life Church, 2513 Sundance Road, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
Don loved his family and friends and he never met anyone that he didn't consider a friend. Fishing and backpacking were two of his favorite things to do. If he could bait your hook or take the fish off for you he considered that as fishing. From 1967 until March of 2011, Don worked for many wonderful plumbing and heating companies.
Don is survived by his wife, Larraine Barbee; sons, Shawn & Todd Barbee; daughters, Melony and Mandy Barbee; Grandson, Michael Barbee; granddaughters, Hope and Elisha Barbee; Great-grandchildren, Katelynn and Parker Barbee; Sisters, Trula Butler and Joy Leary Holt; brothers, Richard Barbee, (Brother-nephew) William Chapman; and numerous extended family members.
Don loved helping people and worked building churches at many different locations. He was excited for what he considered his new project of helping his home church in the building phase starting October 16, 2011. Since he went home before he could get started his family asked if people would like to donate to his cause honoring Don, it would be greatly appreciated. Please send donation to Harvest Life Church Building Project, 2513 Sundance Road, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
