John P. Mason, 42, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at his home.
He was the owner/operator of Mason Gun Shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" Mason and Irene Duty Mason; sister, Sarah Anne Hoel; grandparents, Ernest and Wilma Fowler Mason, and John Bunyon Duty and Bessie McClanahan Duty.
Survivors include his brother, William "Wil" Mason of Chatham Hill; two aunts, Nell Woodrum of Grundy and Agnes Mabe of Great Falls, Mont.
Funeral services were conducted at Henderson Funeral Home. Graveside services were at Ridgedale Cemetery. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.
