Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Robert Andrews, 88 who died at his home in Burlington.

Mr. Andrews had been a resident of Burlington for thirty years, formerly living at Knoxville. He was a native son of Knoxville, having been born here May 27, 1851. Mr. Andrews was a retired Burlington route employee, having been in the service 35 years when he retired.

He was married in Knxoville to Miss Mary Louisa Wood in November, 1882. He was a member of the Harrison Avenue Methodist church and of the Burlington Railroad Veterans Association.

The former railroad man is survived by five children, John R. and Peter M., of Aurora, Ill., Lorne Hardlennert of Omaha, Neb., and Harold H. of Burlington; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. His wife and three children preceded him in death.

The services in Knoxville Tuesday morning were conducted by the Rev. T.C. Kennedy, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment in Graceland Cemetery.
