Leonard Rollins, age 94, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Kingwood Medical Center. The family will welcome family and friends for visitation Friday, October 14, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m., Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Billy Walker will preside over funeral services being held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Plum Grove Cemetery, Plum Grove, Texas.

Mr. Rollins was born July 9, 1917 in Cleveland, Texas to Thomas J. and Georgia Ella Rollins who preceded him in death. He was Baptist in faith and he served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for Hub Supply here in Cleveland for many years. His family was the light of his life; and he will be remembered lovingly.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Rollins; daughter, Glenda M. Slack and husband, Lynn; brother, George Rollins and wife, Ovie; grandchildren, Kent Slack and wife, Elizabeth, Kim Slack; great-grandchildren Nathan Kent Slack, Aaron William Slack; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
