Born Sept. 28, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Robert William and Bertha Anna (Fiscus) Baer, Bob was a member of the First Church of God in Ravenna. He worked for 32 years at the Eaton/Furon Corp. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Gold Prospectors Association of America, and also a private pilot. Bob was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include daughter, Alicia Kay (John M.) Darrah of Randolph; granddaughter, Deanna Marie Darrah of Randolph; brother, John (Sandy) Baer of Tallmadge; sisters, Ann Lewis of Lakemore, Ohio, Irene Brandt of Jacinto, Calif., Margaret (Richard) Krier of Canton; former wife, Martha C. (nee Gove) Baer of Lesterville, S.D.; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Friends and family will be received Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where funeral services will be officiated by Rev.
