Robert George Clark 78, of Indianapolis, passed away November 26, 2010. He was born July 8, 1932 in New Castle, IN, to the late Herman F. and Evelyn Mercer Clark.
Robert served his country in the U.S. Marines, and married Shirley Jacobs. He was the owneroperator of Clark's Appliance for 32 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:30 p.m. at Franklin Road Baptist Church, 59 N. Franklin Rd., Indianapolis, 46219.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Jacobs Clark; children, Diane Clark Douglas (Cameron), Robin Clark Gore (Jim), Robert A. Clark (Cindy), and Thomas E. Clark (Cindy); twin sister, Roberta Burwell; grandchildren, Jimmy (Sarah), B.J. (Michelle), Ashley (Andrew), Chad (Ashley), Heather (Jordan), Brandon (Erica), Andrea (David), Jonathan (Katie), Jill (Daniel), and Brittany; and two great-granddaughters, Madilynn and Juliette.
