Emory Morgan, 78, Route 4, Rogersville, died Tuesday at his home following an extended illness.
He was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and a native and lifelong resident of Hawkins County. He was a retired farmer and was a County Committeeman with the ASC office for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche S. Morgan; one daughter, Lois Parrott, Church Hill; five sons; Mack E. Morgan, Johnson City, Harry Morgan and Wayne Morgan, both of Church Hill; Charles Morgan, Rogersville; Sam Morgan, Nashville; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Winstead and Mrs. Ruth Stewart, both of Rogersville.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) from the Colboch-Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Milam Livesay and the Rev. George Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan family cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home chapel.
