Weatherly Dorothy Mullins Weatherly, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was 79. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rever-ends Van Clack and Bob Zbinden officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 9 to 10 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2011, one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, 1951 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, AL 36303, or charity of your choice. Mrs. Weatherly was born on February 16, 1932, to the late Walter D. and Clyde Vann Mullins in Dothan and was a graduate of Dothan High School. She worked for her husband and son for a number of years keeping books. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a great organizer and loved giving a helping hand to neighbors and friends. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Dothan, Alabama. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hugh D. Weatherly, son, Terry (Jane) Weatherly, Headland, daughter, Donna (Dennis) Pearce, Dothan. Five grandchildren, Tony Weatherly, Headland, Elizabeth (David) Woodham, Headland, Diane (Gregory) Calhoun, Colquitt GA, Lee Pearce, Kent Pearce both of Dothan. Four great-grand-children, Brooke and Rachel Weatherly, Wewa-hitchka, FL, Trent Weatherly, Headland, and Lori Jane Woodham, Headland. Three sisters, Caroline Thrasher, Montgomery, Virginia Kilpatrick, Pace, FL, Eleanor (Sammy) Mc-Call, Dothan. Four brothers, Walter (Medora) Mull-ins, Pensacola, FL, Joe (Gerladine) Mullins, Do-than, Loftin (Delores) Mull-ins, Dothan, Frank Mullins, Atlanta, GA, a sister-in-law, Gerry McCall, Greensboro, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
