Darrel was born September 6, 1966, Okinawa, Japan to Forrest E. and Shirley (Stierwalt) Wilburn Walker. He was a graduate of Junction City High School class of 1984. After graduation he attended Kansas State University and received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications.
He worked for Central National Bank, TCI Cable and Junction City Distributing and Vending. He loved to read and was very involved in Karate and Kung Fu which he received a black belt.
He is survived by his mother Shirley of Junction City, three uncles, Robert Wilburn and Melvin Wilburn both of Junction City and Martin Larson of Abilene, great-uncle, Joe Knox of Chapman, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents, William and Katherine Wilburn and his paternal grandparents.
