Sam married Amanda Belle Whitlow. After she died in 1918, he married Salemma Reynolds.

DEATH OF MR. SAM BELLAMY
AGE 71, NEAR GLASGOW JCT.
Mr. Sam Bellamy, age 71, died at his home near Glasgow Junction, Thursday, February 14, of heart disease.
Mr. Bellamy was twice married, his first marriage to Miss Whitlow. To this union were born the following children: Mrs. Tom Neagle, near the Junction, and Mrs. John Lyon, of Goshem, and Mr. Woolford Bellamy, of Louisville; Mrs. Logan Copass and Miss Florence Bellamy, of Glasgow Jct.
His widow, by second marriage, survives; also, two brothers, Messrs Charlie and Woolford Bellamy, of near Glasgow Junction. Mr. Bellamy was a member of the Baptist church, and an excellent man and citizen.
Funeral service was held on Friday afternoon by Rev. J. C. Outland, pastor Glasgow Junction Baptist church. Burial was in the Whitlow burying ground on W. G. Gibson's place.
