Miss Alyce Marie Gulledge, wife of T.W. Gulledge of Fort Worth and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Werneberg of Cisco, died Friday morning July 24th at 11:00, at the resident of her parents, after an illness of two months. She had not been considered dangerously ill until last Saturday, when she became worse and Mr. Gulledge was wired for and came out on the night train. Sunday, however, she rallied, and was apparently much better, and Mr. Gulledge being almost compelled to be at his business returned home Sunday night. Contrary to expectations, she grew gradually worse until Thursday, when it was decided to again send for the husband, and he arrived Thursday night. She lived until about 11:00, when she passed into the other world, and returned to the Father who created us all.

She was a consecrated christian, a member of the Baptist Church, and was a very accomplished lady.

The funeral was held at the First Baptist Church with Rev. William Crawford, pastor, officiating.

Survived by her parents; one brother; her husband and little daughter. The entire community has sympathy in their sad bereavement.
