Donald L. Arbegast, Sr., 78, entered into the presence of God on Monday, October 10, 2011, from his home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Piper) Arbegast.

Born on February 15, 1933, in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Inez (Darr) and Erwin Arbegast.

Donald was employed as a machinist for Echo Tool and Machine. He attended Fairview Church of the Brethren, in earlier years.

He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Arbegast-Jenkins of Jacobus; a grandson, Andrew "AJ" Jenkins, Jr., and wife, Shonda; three great-granddaughters, Alexia, Selena, and Adreonna Jenkins, all of New Mexico; two sisters, Evelyn Hurley of Carlisle and Lorraine Arbegast. He was preceded in death by son, Donald L. Arbegast, Jr.; granddaughter, Deanna Lynn Jenkins; and brother.

Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
