A graveside service will be noon Tuesday at Whynot Cemetery, Seagrove, with the Rev. James W. Hamilton officiating.
She was a native of Star, a retired teacher's aide at North Elementary School in Hopewell, Va. and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are husband, Llewellyn M. Alexander of Hopewell, Va.; daughter, Lisa M. Harrison of Hopewell, Va.; son, Mark M. Alexander of Hopewell, Va.; sisters, Kathleen S. Tucker of Grifton, Ruth S. Burgess of Asheboro; brothers, Cecil Stout of Fairfax, Va., Neil Stout, Hal Stout, both of Wilmington, George Stout of El Paso, Texas; four grandchildren.
The family will be at Phillips Funeral Home, Star, 7-9 p.m. Monday.
