Elmer Huset was depot agent from 1927 to the end of 1937 at Boy River. He was a depot agent until his retirement in 1957. He made the first switchboard for Boy River on the wall of the depot. Elmer and Hilma's children included Clifton, Lucille and Lois. The Husets moved to Orrin, North Dakota in July 1938 after living in Boy River for eleven years. (History of Boy River, 1998)
