Mrs. Elizabeth Armstrong, widow of John N. Armstrong, who died about two years ago, died in Carlisle. The cause of death was heart disease, and Mrs. Armstrong had been ill for three months past. All her life she had been a resident of Carlisle and she was aged about 67 years. The deceased was a daughter of Melchoir Hoffer, and is survived by an adopted daughter, Miss Bessie, at home, also a sister and two brothers, viz: Miss Charlotte, Carlisle and Dr. J. Z. , of Columbia. [note only 1 brother was mentioned by name].
