Beloved grandmother, Cletus Greeney Hays, 98 went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends that she had touched in some sort of way through out her life.

She was born September 12, 1912 in Bettie, Texas to Barney and Barbara Greeney. She was the second oldest of eleven children.

Devoted wife of John H Hays, they lived the majority of her adult life in Tyler and Pert, Texas where she raised her son John M Hays and grandchildren. She always cherished her time spent with step daughter Barbara Powell. She retired to Kilgore to be closer to her family.

She is survived by one sister; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband John H Hays, son, John M Hays and granddaughter Brandie June Hays.

Services for Cletus Hays, 98, of Kilgore will be ten am Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ron Strait officiating. Burial will follow in the Cain Cemetery, Hallsville, Texas.
