Edward W. Ashmann, 43, an employe of the Altite Motor Parts Co., died Wednesday in Mary Washington Hospital. He was a former resident of Chatsworth, Ill. and was a veteran of eight years service in the Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ellen Crow Ashmann; a daughter, Gloria Dean Ashmann; four brothers, George Ashmann, Streator, Ill.; Robert Ashmann, Cullom, Ill.; and Arnold and Richard Ashmann, both of Chatsworth; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Ellis, Chicago, Ill.
Funeral rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Church of God, conducted by the Rev. A. G. Littek, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J. D. Wilson, Earnest Neblin, Russell Noland, John Hall, Clarence Atkins and Charles Sullivan.
