Francis Boggess, 86, of 112 West Cleveland, Chrisman, died at 7:456 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 at the Boxwood Manor Nursing Home in Newman.
The body is at the Scott-Bolen Funeral Home in Chrisman where service arrangements are pending.
He was born May 10, 1907 in Indianola, the son of Joseph and Lura Crist Boggess. He was married Oct. 17, 1927 in Vermilion rove, Ill. To Amanda Catherine Boggess. She preceded him in death July 21, 1992.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Madolyn Potenza of Sarasota, Fla.; Miss Helen Boggess of Chrisman; and Mrs. Hazel Kinney of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Harold Boggess of Rantoul; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
