Crystal - George Emery Doolittle, 70, lifelong resident of Ferris Township, died Saturday at his home in rural Vestaburg.
A farmer, Mr. Doolittle was born April 1, 1888. His parents were Charles and Rebecca Doolittle.
Surviving is his wife, Alma; two sons, George Doolittle Jr. and Benson and a daughter, Mrs. Iva Waldron, all of Vestaburg; four brothers, Benson Doolittle, Florida, Harry, Detroit, Lester, Vestaburg, and Clarence, Stanton, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Community Church with the Rev. Arlo Gould officiating. Burial will be in Ferris Cemetery.
The body is at Huyck Funeral Home.
