Son of James Walter and Mary Elizabeth King Ogle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Polly Ogle Trentham and Lona Jane Ogle Trentham, three brothers Charles E. Ogle, W. Kates Ogle, and J. Wesley Ogle. He belonged to the United Methodist Church, was a veteran of World War II, and retired from TVA after 32 years.
He is survived by his sisters Verna Ogle McCarter and Cecil Ogle Clabo.
