East Moline - Lester A. Lightner, 57, of 359 28th Ave, East Moline, died Thursday at Illini Hospital. Services will be Monday at Church of Christ, Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is Sunday at Schroder Mortuary.

He was an assembler for Moline Accessories Co., Moline. Mr. Lightner was born in West Liberty, Iowa. He married Hilda Seeman. She preceded in death. He married Ida M. Dawson in 1968 in Moline. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Sims, East Moline; Mrs. Robert (Carol) Beardsley, Milan; Mrs. William (Rosemary) Hirasawa, Lander, Wyo., and Elsie Dawson, San Lorenzo, Calif.; stepsons, Thomas R. Dawson, Moline; Harry W. and Mark A. Dawson, both of Houston, Tex., and J. Michael Dawson, Eureka, Ill.; 14 stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren, and a brother, LeRoy, West Liberty.
