Survivors include his wife; stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Sims, East Moline; Mrs. Robert (Carol) Beardsley, Milan; Mrs. William (Rosemary) Hirasawa, Lander, Wyo., and Elsie Dawson, San Lorenzo, Calif.; stepsons, Thomas R. Dawson, Moline; Harry W. and Mark A. Dawson, both of Houston, Tex., and J. Michael Dawson, Eureka, Ill.; 14 stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren, and a brother, LeRoy, West Liberty.
