Todd J. Rowe, 49, of Parsons, died early Sunday, October 9, 2011, at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was not expected.
He was born August 28,1962, in Salina, Kansas, to Larry Joe and Nancy Louise (Rhoades) Rowe. He grew up and attended school in Parsons. While attending high school, he was injured in a water park accident in Joplin and had been disabled since that time.
His passion was restoring cars. He enjoyed going to drag races at Mo-Kan, Topeka and Tulsa; collecting baseball cards, listening to Elvis, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra; hosting cookouts, hanging out at OJ's and the Midnight Factory, and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include: Two Sisters – Terri Willis Parsons, KS Tina Hall Parsons, KS Numerous Nieces and Nephews A Host of Friends
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Joe Rowe, April 28, 2011; mother, Nancy Rowe, November 1, 2006; and brother, Tim Rowe, February 7, 2005.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2011, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Following burial on Friday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, family and friends will gather at the family home.
