Mrs. Jacklyn Miller Spires, 46, of Gaston, S.C., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1992, at Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church in West Columbia, with the Rev. Dickie Cullum officiating. Burial was in the Spires Family Cemetery, Neeses.
Pallbearers were Leroy Spires, Randy Spires, Earl Barwick Jr., Glenn Jumper, Ron Swanger, and David Owens.
Mrs. Spires was born in Aiken County, a daughter of James Miller and Laura Walker Miller. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in West Columbia and was the wife of Lonnie Spires.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Janice Tedder and Miss Jacklyn Nicole Spires, both of Gaston, and Mrs. Helen Kaney of Lexington; a son, Samuel Spires of Washington, DC; her parents of Windsor; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Barwick of Windsor, Mrs. Salley Bolen of Langley, Mrs. Shirley Asbell of North Augusta, and Mrs. Jean Wells of Grovetown, Ga.; two brothers, Angus Miller of Windsor and Wayne Miller of Couchton; and six grandchildren.
Culler Funeral Home of North was in charge.
