at Muscatine General Hospital,
after an extended illness.
The body is at the Riley Funeral
Home, where friends may call
beginning Saturday morning.
Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Monday at the Riley Funeral
Home, with Rev. J. Paul Stephens
officiating. Burial will be at
Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. York had been a resident
of Muscatine for 48 years. She
was a member of the First
Friends church.
She was born Sept. 8, 1901, in
Mercer county, I11., the daughter
of Oscar and Hannah Sheese
Bogart.
She was married May 1, 1922, at
Fairfield to William N. York.
Mrs. York is survived by one son,
Clair E. York, Muscatine; two
daughters, Mrs. Helen Salyers,
Watago, III., and Mrs. Paul
(Marie) Fowler, Muscatine, and
two grandchildren. She is also
survived by two brothers, Harry
Bogart, Tremont, Miss., and
Cecil Bogart, Aledo, II!.
She was preceded in death by her
husband on July 20, 1967, and
also by her parents, two brothers
and two sisters.
