Mrs. Sell was killed when an auto she was a passenger in was driving southbound & reportedly struck a bridge abutment at about 11:40 a.m., Wednesday, one half mile south of West Liberty on highway 70.
Services for Mrs. Sell will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Riley Funeral Home. Rev. J. Paul Stevens will officiate and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 7 p.m. tonight.
Born July 1, 1929 at Muscatine, Deloris Mildred Franklin was the daughter of Floyd and Wyona Orr-Franklin. She was a lifetime resident of this area.
Surviving are 5 sons, Perry, Steve, Dennis, Randy, and Kim all of Muscatine: 2 daughters, Tanya, Muscatine and Vickie, Keithsburg, IL and seven grandchildren.
Also four sisters, Carol Cragg, Tulsa OK, Mrs. William (Betty) Martin, Grandview; Mrs. Albert (Violet) Martin, Anamosa; and Mrs. William (Lucille) Linn, Muscatine and her father, Floyd Franklin, Muscatine.She was proceeded in death by her first husband, her mother, one son and one daughter.*************************
