Chester Marlowe, age 87, of Hazard, Ky., died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 9747 Lotts Creek Road in Perry County. He is the son of the late Arch and Polly Craft Marlowe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Marlowe, Two sons: Chester Marlowe, Jr. and Mervel Marlowe, One daughter: Louise Marlowe, Two brothers: Pete and James Marlowe, and Two sisters: Magdeline and Babe. Chester is survived by Two sons; Kenneth Marlowe and his wife Sandy and John Ellis Marlowe. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel, where the family received friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007. The funeral for Chester Marlowe will be held today, January 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Maggard's Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Fred S. Ballard officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, Ky.
