Born 2865 W. 32nd Ave 08/01/1913. Sept. 1919 Grade School at St. Dominic's - Sept 1927 High School at Cathedral School, graduated in May 19, 1932. Lived for 3 years at 2925 Wyandot St. Moved to 2867 Benton in 1925, continued to live there until July 1934 when I married Chub Marriott July 28, 1934. Our home was at 741 So. Downing where we raised two children, Jack and Marianne. After 40 years we sold our home as both of the children had married and Chub had retired from Public Service Co. having worked there 40 years. We enjoyed apartment living after all those years of house repairing, painting and yard work. Did some traveling, bought a small cabin in Pine Colorado which was lots of work. Eventually sold the property as the work was beginning to be a bit hard for Chub. His health gradually failed and he passed on October 22, 1985. We did enjjoy 51 years of happy married life, now it is ten years later and I'm getting around slowly but happy to have my family who are so good to me. I only hope I can be here to help them until the end comes as I am past 81 years not. I do enjoy life and the love I get from my family and try to return to all of them.

Helen's health slowly deteriorated, she moved to an assisted living facility and finally to a nursing home in June of 2010. She passed away there on September 2, 1911, at the age of 98 years.
