Mrs. Willie Ellen Acree, age 18 years, 10 months and a few days, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ralph Smith on Roland Avenue, Thursday August 2.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Acree, and one son, besides a host of relatives and friends. Brief funeral services, conducted by Rev. Orley Hale, at the home on Sunday, August 5, and the remains were laid to rest in the Owenton cemetery.
Mrs. Acree was a Christian, a devoted member of the Baptist Church, and a devoted wife and mother. A large number of sorrowing relatives and friends were in attendance to pay the last sad tribute of respect.
KYDR 22122 states she died from pulmonary tuberculosis, duration 8 months, following influenza.
