HUMESTON, IA. - Mary A. Carton, 72, of Humeston died of a cerebral hemorrhage Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton‘s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery there.
Mrs. Carton was born in Des Moines and had lived in Des Moines before moving to Humeston 13 years ago. She retired in 1974 from Tension Envelope.
Survivors include a son, Jimmie of Des Moines; a daughter, Jeanette Murrow of Humeston; three sisters, Ethel Little and Mildred Rotan, both of Des Moines, and Dorothy Cooper of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
