William Allen Dies After Long Illness
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for William D. Allen, 85, who died at his home Friday following a two year illness. He had been associated in business with his son, Glenn, and had lived in Hartford the last five years.
Surviving are his wife, Lettie, two sons, Rex of Buchanan and Glenn of Watervliet; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn Brown of Jackson, and two grandchildren. The Rev. Gustav Bessert, Benton Harbor, officiated at the services and burial was in Pioneer cemetery.
