Obituary in The Chronicle, Augusta, GA, 12 Jul 1986: Salley, S.C. - Euley 'Bunnie' Gleaton, Jr., 55, died Friday at his residence. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Salley Oakview Cemetery with the Rev. Don Corley officiating. Mr. Gleaton was a native of Barnwell County. He was a former employee of Coble Milk Co. and was a construction employee of Savannah River Plant and Salley Manufacturing Co. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Louise Huggins Gleaton, Wagener; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marie) Goodwin, Lexington; two sons, Richard Gleaton and Michael Gleaton, both of Wagener; seven sisters, Avalea Collins, Blackville, Mrs. Luther (Mamie) Proctor, Salley, Mrs. Charlie (Mary) Proctor, Springfield, Mrs. Maurice (Inez) Williams, Williston, Mattie Malone, Beech Island, Mrs. Earl (Peggy) Yon, Aiken, and Mrs. Milladge (Dora) Hartley, Neeses; and three brothers, Oscar Gleaton, Columbia, Paul Gleaton, Maryland, and Allen Gleaton, Salley. Pallbearers will be Donnie Tindal, Ronnie Tindal, Terry Tindal Hallman, Joe Foster, Danny Tindal, Wilton Gantt and Jimmy Arnold. Blizzard Funeral Home is in charge.
