Services for M.A. Boruff were held in the Vernon Church of Christ and conducted by Elder L.N. Moody, minister of the local church assisted by Rev. G.T. Reaves, pastor of the First Christian Church in Vernon. Mr. Boruff was buried near the grave of his wife who preceded him in death. Survived by six daughters - Mrs. G.W. Richardson, Mrs. D. Tanner, Mrs. D.O. S Smith, MRs. Dale Dunn, Mrs. L.D. Eubanks, Mrs. Essie Love; two sons - Lee Boruff, Claude Boruff; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
